Open AI Summary

On July 4th, 1986, a preventable terrorist event was observed near the Empire State Building in New York City. A sedan and a white van were parked on the east side of a street. Two men were seen in the van, one possibly armed with an automatic weapon. A man with black hair and a mustache was walking around the sedan, possibly acting as the leader. Later, the leader got into the sedan and headed south, followed by the van. The vehicles then drove north on another street, where the leader interacted with another man. As twilight approached, the leader was seen at the rear of a small sedan, doing something with a long, thick-walled pipe-like device with a box attached to it. The small sedan was driven to a street near Wall Street, with the objective potentially located on the left side of the street. Unfortunately, there is no available information beyond this point.

July 4th, 1986 Preventable Terrorist Event
Site #1 - Not far from the Empire State Building (see map
for approximate location), early afternoon, clear, nice day.
A sedan and what seems to be a white van are parked along
the east side of a one way, north-south, wide street or
avenue. The van is behind the sedan. There seems to be two
men seated in the van. The man in the passenger seat may have
 an automatic weapon beside him.
Walking around on the sidewalk beside the sedan is a man
with black hair and a substantial long mustache (AOL-"Turkish
type"). One other man may be seated in the sedan.
The man outside the vehicle acts as a leader. He glances
occassionally at his watch and also in the direction of the
 World Trade Center.
Later, when the sun is lower and reflecting off of the
high-rise glass windows, the leader gets into the sedan and
heads south, followed by the van. (Not sure if the leader is
 driving or is a passenger).
Site #2 - See map. Sedan and van drive north up a street
(not as wide as an avenue). The leader exchanges glances with
a man who is walking slowly south on the sidewalk. Another
auto, smaller than the sedan, is parked along the east side of
the street, pointed north. This auto was parked here earlier
by the man on the sidewalk.
Site #2 - Later, after twilight, sky blue-black.
Fireworks beginning to go off in the sky in the direction of
the harbor. Sedan and van are now near, possibly
double-parked, alongside of the smaller sedan. The leader is
at the rear of the small sedan; its trunk is open. He is bent
over and seems to be doing something with a device which may
have been transferred from one of the other vehicles to the
small one. This device resembles a long, wide, thick-walled,
heavy pipe. It has a sort of box attached to it.
Site #3 - Later now. The small sedan is driven by its
original driver to a street near the Wall Street part of the
city (see map). The vehicle is oriented south and seems to be
driving slowly on the right (west) side of the street. It
seems that the 'objective' is on the left side of the street,
 just ahead down this street.
At this point, information ceases to be available.
