1. (S/NF/SK) MISSION: As one element of a larger tasking package,
determine the location of a classified document which, based upon
corroborative data, is assumed to be within the Washington D.C.
metropolitan area.
2. (S/NF/SK) VIEWER TASKING: The viewer was informed that this was
to be a "new" project; it was, however, only a new aspect of an
ongoing one--namely, an attempt to give 003 a "clean" start (i.e., no
review of previous sessions). Nevertheless, the viewer ended up
sketching the DIAC once again (in Stage 3) which prompted the query
"Is this the same target that we have been working?". After the
monitor responded in the affirmative and explained the intended
strategy, 003 was directed to acquire the building in which the
document is presently located. This was accomplished along with an
attempt, via Stage 6 sketching, to place the building with respect to
the Beltway.
3. (S/NF/SK) COMMENTS: The description of the building itself is
probably very accurate--003 perennially does well on this type of
task. With regard to location, 003 has always had fair success,
providing "ballpark" data, but so much AOL is associated with the
target that, in this case,' a low confidence level should apply to the
Stage 6 data.
