This document is a summary of an interview conducted on September 1, 1983, as part of the Center Lane project. The interviewee, referred to as source #08, was shown a photograph of a building and asked to describe it. The interviewee described the building as a work building, with unfinished interiors and steel tubing racks on wheels used for storage. They mentioned the presence of fiberglass fibers and their connection to electronics and communication. When asked about the layout of the building, the interviewee mentioned an open area resembling a hangar on the first floor and glass-partitioned offices on the second floor. They also noted the presence of people looking into fibers in a specific room. The interviewee drew a sketch of carriers used to carry steel rods and tubings for wiring. Overall, they felt confident about the communication and electronic aspects of the building but were confused by its high ceiling and the message conveyed during the session.

#66: This will be a CENTER LANE Interview for 0900 hours
1 September 1983. Relax now, relax, relax, relax.
Focus your attention, your awareness in present
time on the building in the photograph I've shown
you. Focus now ad describe your perceptions to me.
 #08: The a..the very first impression is a ....is a.. I
assume is a..guuts area, this is a work building, a
work building. This is not a....as opposed to a..a
lab or a research or-this is a work building. Let
me explore that a little bit more.
 #66: I will wait.
 #08: ..... the, there's, there's an
emphasis again on a ..the a..work aspect of the
building, ... the impression is...is that
a ..the ..even the interior is not finished, it is
but it's contradictory, it's trying to give me the
impression that it's definitely a work building.
There's ....there are a..there are ...a ..steel tubing
 racks ..... .... ......Yellow pipe a........ they're
also mobile, they're on wheels. ............
 They're a..used to store....and carry...... some
sort of a...some sort of tubing or rods of about a
quarter inch in diameter, with a ..a plastic
coatings of rubber and plastic coatings. ....Some
 I see...hollow...and in other sections I
see..a...the steel rods, the size of the tubing,
except it's pure metal, brownish coated, rust
 looking.
 #66: Okay.
 #08: There's question of a.....of fibers, fiberglass
 fibers.........and a...(mumble) to a electronics
and communication. .......And the coming together
of all this stuff and determining what to use and
how much of it to use..a to accomplish a..a
 communication (mumble), in an electronic
 communication (mumble)
#66: Okay, I'd like you to draw this for me later. I'm
interested now in the general area of the first or
lower floor of this building in the photograph, the
general area layout of the first or lower floor.

 #08: .........I don't have a feel for that, I have a..I
have a ......let me tell you what I have and then
maybe we'll see what happens. I have an open, open
 a....open a...wide and high area,...a miniature
 hanger, if you wish, a ............. I.... I a..have
 a, ...I have people with a.......with a...some sort
of hard hat, and they're kind of ridiculous,
because there is no danger of anyone getting a
...getting a...hurt or the danger is very remote,
it's...more of a trademark or professional
 ...identification thing. ..........I also see
a......I have to come back to this, because it's
 being reemphasized and....with a....a ah....
technician in charge of the people, I think this
...may be one, more than one team. Again, the
(mumble) supposed to determine what to..mix
together, in one cable, according to a specified
objective and how much this stuff is going to carry.
#66: All right. Concentrate and focus your attention
now on the second floor of the building in the
photograph, on the second floor of the building in
the photograph, on the second floor of the building
in the photograph and describe your perceptions to
 me.
#08: Okay, the first thing I get is that, that area is
very squashy, squishy, the, the...sides of the
building at that point come in and (mumble) ...The
walls are they're slanted in, as in an attic,...
Basic construction. Let me look around a little
bit. .........I see this as a.. admin area with a
hallway in the center, ..a ...a ....great deal of
 glass partitions,...old a... varnished ....a bottom
half of the partition. ......I see about four
or..five offices on each side of this corridor.
It's not all that, but it's principally that.
#66: Okay. Now these rooms off the corridor.
 #08: Yeah.
#66: Let's go into one of them and see if it isn't
something you didn't expect to find.
 #08: .............Well, I bumped into a..... a couple of
 a......hell,...other people in a..white, looking
...through a. . .microscopic type apparatus and
 they're looking into fibers....and that's just one

room. ...............I know the room is, has,
looking into the aspects of the covering of what
we've been discussing, the actual cover.
#66: Okay. Move around this upper floor to see if
 there's another area.
 #08: That's what I'm doing.
#66: Another area than this group of offices, look
 around this upper floor.
#08: ....................Humph...... This peaks out into
one a ....it's symbolic, it ...one ...one small admin
room, ....on top of all of this . That's all I can
 get.
#66: Okay. I want you to remember the things you've
seen, so that you might draw them for. I have no
 further questions now.
#08: Okay. I've got nothing else.

#08: Okay in this sketch entitled carriers, all right.
After I got into the building that seemed that held
my attention and wouldn't let go was that of yellow
tubing carriers on wheels that whose purpose it was
to carry two types of specific items. The lower
portion of it were long steel rods, not that long,
maybe 8, 10 feet in length on the carriers. And
they looked very brownish, as if rusted, but they
weren't of course. It was just their appearance.
And the top portion of the carrier was ladened with
these plastic, rubberized coated coverings. They
looked like tubings and what they really were, were
coverings for some type of wiring. Later on this
was, and I now forget at what point in the session,
the idea of a mixture of fiberglass fibers. All
this related to communications with a purpose of,
again later on in the session, a determination of
what, with size and how how to use of each item to
carry a communication or electronic current or
beeping of current toward something. The was the
 gist of what I saw.
#66: So how do you feel about this session now?
#08: I was confused in the building, because I had a
very high, high ceiling. It was almost like an
open area. And you talked about stories and I
hadn't paid attention to the story, I kept looking
down and I couldn't see anything underneath. So
then I went up and went into that other section
with rooms much as I described them.
#66: Okay. What kind of, how you feel in terms of
comparing this session with other sessions,
 confidence level and so forth?
#08: It was trying to tell me something, it wasn't a
 literal session, okay.
 #66: Um, um.
#08: I am very confident about the electronic and
communication aspect and the attempt to resolve the
substance, the amount of substance to be used in
 this thing.

 #66:
 Okay.
 #08:
And that was the experimentation part of it and the
trial and error in testing part of it.
 #66:
 Okay.
 #08:
That I feel quite comfortable with. How it came to
tell me this, is something else.
 #66:
Okay. Well, that may be relevant. Anything else?
 #08:
No, I don't have anything else.
 #66:
 Okay.
