 TRANSCRIPT SUMMARY,
 SG1A sEss4;oN DC"52
 1. CS/NO ORN) Source '4607. described th.e vicinity of. geographic
coordinates as of 1400 Hours, 19 Dec
 1980 as fol oars:
 a. (S/NOFORN) The coordinate area is located in a broad
valley fronted by a plateau to the Southwest. At the target is
 a big "X" or a "crossroads" resembling a "runway" (sketch #2).
In the vicinity of the "crossroads" is a lattice work tower
(sketch #3). The. ground was snow covered at the time of obser-
vation, and tracks were observed in the snow which were of a
type which would be made by vehicles with large wheels (sketch #1).
 b. (S/NOFORN) To the Northeast of the target, it appeared
that structures became denser in concentration. To the West
of the target, the terr/ain appeared open and desolate.
 c. (S/NOFORN) A man dressed in dark heavy clothin waving
at someone in a big truck was observed. The truck had h frosty,
crusty windshield, and was observed entering a U/I complex. The
truck had tied down canvas. Source also observed a truck (U/I)
coming through a security fence. In this area, source also
observed a "domestic scene" of clothes hanging on a drying line.
 2. (S/NOFORN) While observing the target on 19 Dec 1980,
source reported seeing a smoke or vapor trail similar to an
irratic signal flare to the Northwest. Source felt this cons-
tituted some kind of signal, because it was small compared to
another, larger billowing cloud associated with a light and
"red hot bent steel" which he also saw in the vicinity , and be-
lieved to be an explosion of some type. Source felt this latter
occurrance may have been a rocket launch.
 3. (S/NOFORN) On 26 Dec 1980, source observed highly illum-
inated buildings, as though they were illuminated by a big strobe
 light.
 4. (S/NOFORN) On 31 Dec 1980, source observed a "cut away"
model of a (U/I) passenger aircraft.
