Summary:
This document is a summary of a remote viewing session conducted as part of the CIA's Stargate program. The session was conducted to gather information about the hostage situation in Iran. The remote viewer reported perceiving three Americans in a large room on the ground floor of the target building, having a regular meeting to keep their spirits up. The viewer felt that there was one additional hostage elsewhere in the building. The viewer was unable to recognize or identify any of the hostages, but felt they had lost their individual identity and had given up all hope. The viewer also perceived three guards, two of whom were in the room with the hostages. The guards appeared bored and seemed to have a familiar relationship with the hostages. No weapons were reported. At one point, the viewer thought the hostages might have received some news that excited them, but they were described as cautious with their hope. Prior to the session, the viewer was shown imagery of the US Embassy compound in Tehran and was told that their target was the Ambassador's quarters in area "J" of the compound.

 REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION D-91
 1. (S/NOFORN) The remote viewer reported that he perceived three americans
(at least) in a large room on the ground floor within the target building.
He felt that these three were having a meeting which they had regularly
to keep their spirits up. The viewer felt there was one other hostage
who did not attend this meeting and was elsewhere in the target building
 doing some reading.
 2. (S/NOFORN) The viewer was unable to recognise or identify any of the hostages
he saw. He seemed to have very little visual sensation of the target but
did seem to "tune into " the emotional content of the target building. The
viewer felt that the hostages he saw were drained of any identity. He
felt it was as though they no longer had any individual egos. The viewer
also felt that the hostages did not feel any hostility towards their captors.
The hostages seemed to have given up all hope.
 3. (S/NOFORN) The viewer perceived three guards associated with the target
building. Two of these guards were in the room where the hostages were having
their meeting. The whereabouts of the other guard was not reported. The
guards seemed bored and appeared to be wishing that this affair was over. The
guards seemed to be on a "first name basis" with the hostages. No weapons
 were reported.
 4. (S/NOFORN) At one point in the session the viewer thought that the hostages
might have inadvertantly received some news (subject unknown) which made them
excited. The emotional state of the hostages concerning this news was described
as excited but not daring to be hopefull.

for about a year. He has been exposed to a myriad of information both classified

US Embassy compound in Teheran, Iran. Area "J" was pointed out to the viewer and
he was told that this would be his target. He was told that this area was known
as the Ambassador's quarters. He was told that it wasn't necessary to spend
a great deal of time describing the building; his mission was to determine if there
