All right #01 the time is now 23 ours. Your mission for
this evening is to go to area H
When you get to area H I want you to i en i y
any hostages that are in that building and I want you to
describe the security in and around this building to include
the uards. Relax, relax, focus your attention on the
 im Report back to me.
+03 #01: I see a room centered on the left, left end of the building
where the, what appears to be an entry is located. Is very
close to it. It's got a drop ceiling in it. Very low ceiling.
There's a recessed neon lights in it. Appears to be a rust
colored carpet or wall carpet. There's three large tables in
the room, and what appears to be curtains is down two sides.
+05 I got a projection ...projection equipment to one side against
the end of the wall. It's...I got an impression there's about
 5 hostages there. One's a........... one's a warrant officer.
 Three are civilians. One's a one's an E-7, Army type. They're
occupying the rear right side of the room. Uh.....first name
is George. One of them's first name is George. I think he's
a civilian. I think ...uh...one of them I know. Let me concen-
trate on him for a minute. I know him. I can't............
He's ...uh...one of the civilian's is a very heavy set fellow
with..uh..tapered sideburns. Very solidly built. About
 +10 5 foot 8, brown hair. E-7 is 6'1", 190 pounds...late 30s...
Getting the impression that..uh..one of these hostages is
Kennedy. I feel like he's new. Like newly added to the group.
There's a LTColonel here also. I think he's the first one
I got the impression of. A military man. This guy's definitely
not Holland. It's a different one. It's a different Lieutenant
 Colonel, and I got a .......................................

 #01:
There's been.alot of things stripped out of this building.
Uh...selected pieces have been stripped from this building.
Uh...tapes. I see alot of tapes ...uh...one inch mag-type tapes.
I had a sensation they're strewn about ...thrown around. I
think..uh..the entranceway to this building is been..uh,.booby-
 trapped.
Front door is kept locked and bolted on inside. It's also..
uh..steel type door. Leadered (phonetic) type steel. There's
uh...great deal of munitions in the ammo cans stacked inside.
It looks like couple automatic weapons laying on a counter top
or something. Just inside the door on the left side. And,
there's..uh..there's a couple of automatics laying there.
+15 I get a sensation for large open space with very large white
boxes in here. I think this building is rigged to....it's
booby-trapped in some way....it's rigged to burn. I think
they're going to burn this building if it's messed with.
 8R001000550001-1
There's an Air Force type here. I think he's, he's an
Air Force employed civilian. I think he's a civilian who
works for the Air force. Maybe..uh..retired Air Force type.
Very short haired Air Force type. Very short hair. He's
very meticulous about his grooming. I don't see any windows
in this room, so it must be an interior room...........
I don't see any Iranian guards in the room, either. There's
 ..uh..the doors..uh..single entrance sets of door...maybe metal.
It's like an antb-room.... like a cloak room or something, right
outside with another door that's heavy metal. There's..uh..
some kind of a light or a sign or something over the door.
Very quiet room. It's a...designed ...accoustically designed.
Quiet room. There's an armed Iranian in ante-room .....cloak
room. He's sitting on a chair. There's a metal desk stacked out-
side the door of the cloak room. Like an indepth barricade.
that you..uh..you zigzagged... you got to walk in a zigzagged
pattern between these stacked desks. Not a very short hallway.
And you make a left and a right turn to get out of the building.
I see maybe two additional Iranians in the building in there.
They're just poking around in some stuff ..................
one of the other civilians is..uh..very small person...... very
tiny person .... 5'2"/5'311...... going bald and,he's got wire-
rimmed glasses They've ..uh...they've moved alot of things
out of this building.....in a van. I see shotguns on the counter
too, two shotguns ..... (mumbling) and a riot.gun........ (phonetic)

#01: It's very, very quiet in the room where the hostages are.
 Uh.....like a soundproof room......very quiet. I think....
+20 uh.... there's some kind of.....I get an impression that the
...get an impression that the hostages could, could actually
lock themselves in this room if they wanted..... throw latch...
or jam ...the handle down (phonetic) they would be..uh..
unable to come in. That's all I'm getting.
#14: Ok. I have no further questions, at this time. Is there
anything else that you think is important to add?
#01: I think the building is rigged to burn. And, that's important.
#14: Let me ask a question. If the hostages lock themselves in and
the building was set off, what position would they be in?
Would they be in danger of going. up with the building or would
 they have......
#01: Yes, yes, very much so. These...uh...these ...uh...power devices
are..uh..I sense extreme intense heat. I don't think anything
 will survive.
#14: All right. I have no further questions. Ok. We're now ready
 for debrief.
#01: Page 1. I got a feeling like the left end of the building is
where I was.... somewhere over in this area is a door.... entry....
area and..uh..this room is like.... situated this way...with a
small cloak-type room entry way.... somewhere in the left here
is a counter area. I'll call it target room. There are large
 white boxes here. Uh.....
 Page 2 . Is a blow-up of this room. .....entry door....got a
feeling of curtains.....uh...pro'jection equipment ...... there
are large tables down this end....and the hostages are down
at this corner....... there is a guard down here.....these are
 guards.....these are hostages ...... uh.....this is..uh..like a
 cloak..... entrance...... to area...like a hallway...call this
 a modified hallway.....'cause it's not really a hallway.....
 it just gives that impression.
Page 3. Going into that corner of the where the hostages are....
Let's see....hostage 1, I got the impression that this hostage
was a Lieutenant Colonel, but not Holland. I don't even know
if Holland is a Lieutenant Colonel...if he is...but...this
civilian is ... small ......about 5 foot 2 inches or 3 inches
in height. This guy is an E-7; this guy is an Air Force civilian.
This guy's name was Kennedy. Got a....one of them is first....
 name George.

#14: Ok. You mentioned that you felt that Kennedy was new there.
 What gave you that impression?
#01: 1 don't know. I just felt like he joined the group. I also
got an impression that one of them was a warrant officer, but
that doesn't jobe with whatelse I said, but............
 #14: Ok. That's always possible.
#01: The warrant officer may be a 6th hostage.
#14: You described the entrance of this building as being booby-
 trapped.
 #01: Four.... entrance door.....
#14: Can you elaborate on that?
 #01: I, I just got an impression like there was.....uh .............
Hsome form of.......devices next to the door.....booby trap
devices..... there was like a counter on the left with weapons
 on it, and to the right of the entrance were two more guards;
maybe just poking around in some stuff in this area.....uh....
oing....following this arrow...... calling this route to room
.....there was a...... this hallway impression like this....
like this, where you would have to go....uh....a zigzagg type
 pattern.... down modified hallway ................*...V*.
I felt like the entire building was rigged to be burned.
 Guess that's it.
 #14:
 Ok.
Looking at my notes I don't see anything else.
 #01:
 Ok.
 Guess that's it.
 #14:
 End of session.
