The interest in parapsychological phenomena has been growing
steadily in the Soviet Union in recent years. New cases of tele-
pathy,. telekinesis and the so-called "skin vision" (seeing with
closed eyes through the skin) are continually acknowleded and sci-
entifically evaluated. In increasing measure scientific, official
and military institutions are participating in the researching: of
these phenomena. Only a small amount of this [however] becomes pub-
 licly known.
Thus, for example, there appeared in the magazine of the KGB,
"Na boewom pontu," in December of 1976 an interv.ew with TOFIK G.
