 2.   DR/DD.   Just a small heads-up re the issue PAG raises below.
 a.   You may recall that we reviewed the program with Dr. Jones at USD(A
 request after the briefing to DEPSECDEF and USD(A).
 b.   The only issue that surfaced at.either session was the external fun
 question, which the DR raised with the DEPSECDEF.
 3.   PAG will keep us informed as this unfolds.

 SG1J          1.                     called with a rumor from LA that Dr. Anita Jones, DDR&
 is very negate Q on star Gate and opposes continuation of the program.
 a. We agreed that the rumor doesn't ring true,  and I Faxed George a cop
 Mr. Berbrich's Higgins of 4 June summarizing Dr. Jones' professional
 professional reaction to the Star Gate briefing.
 b. George will attempt to set up a meeting with Dr. Jones this week so
 can address her questions directly.   (She will be out of pocket next week.)
 will also inform PS.
 2. I don't like to pass rumors, but wanted you to know soonest about th
 sensitive issue.
