 3.    BACKGROUND:  This  is  a  continuation  of  a  series  known  as  the
 "communication  proficiency project" devised for use by a potential
 customer   It involves the selection  of one of the appropriate
 squares ref.ected on the attached 4X4 matrix.
 ----The series involves the use of a beacon person (Mickie) who
 will randomly select a square and mark it with a large "X".
